In this role, you will design and develop equipment and machines for testing and production of our products. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a mechanical engineer with experience in industrialization projects, mechanical design and DFM with a demonstrated ability to take ownership during development and drive technical solutions.\nResponsibilities\nTake the technical lead for the Jigs and Tools development \nReview product designs from a production point of view \nUnderstand and evaluate the production steps and the needed tools \nResearch existing off-the-shelf components and combine them to a production solution \nGenerate 3D CAD models, drawings, bills of material, and other related documentation required for production. \nDeliver technical documentation including any engineering calculations, analysis and assumptions required to substantiate your design decisions and solutions. \nManage suppliers and manufacturers by addressing any technical questions and resolving any issues which may arise during the manufacturing process. \nSelect standard parts, fasteners, equipment, and consumables following best practices and industry standards. \nCoach junior engineers and interns in jigs and tooling design, manufacturing and CAD. \nParticipate in design reviews and technical discussions during different development stages. \nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, testing, and industrialization engineers, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the components into the vehicle. \nRequirements\nQualifications and Experience\nBSc.
