You will use your experience and skills to design and analyse compressors, diffusers, turbines, intakes and exhaust nozzles within our product and technology development programs. The aim is to produce highly efficient, reliable and cost-effective turbomachinery solutions using a range of tools, from meanline design tools to advanced CFD simulations and optimization tools. An important part of the work is to build up and further developing of our design process and methods. Join us in shaping the future of defense with groundbreaking aerospace innovations.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAero-design of aero-engine components using meanline design tools and CFD simulations\nDevelop and implement automated optimization workflows including DOE and Multi-Objective Optimization\nAnalyze test data and compare it to numerical simulation results\nDevelop our turbomachinery design tools and methods\nCollaborate with other engineering teams (e.g. combustion, mechanical design, stress analysis) to align design goals and evaluate results\nMentor less experienced engineers\nParticipating and presenting in design reviews\nDocument work in technical reports and specifications\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Need\nMSc in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or equivalent\n >7 years of work experience from flow path design and analysis of jet engines and/or gas turbines\nExperience using meanline design tools for compressors and turbines \nProficient in performing and analyzing CFD simulations of turbomachinery components, preferably Star-CCM+\nProficient in using optimization tools for compressor and/or turbine designs, e.g., Axstream, Turbodesign Optima\nExperience in heat transfer calculations and/or conjugate heat transfer simulations is an advantage\nExperience from product development processes incl. gate reviews\nEnglish language and communication skills (verbal and in writing) on CEFR level C1\nResults-driven, problem solver and initiative-taker\nWho You Are\nYou are curious, analytical, and driven by solving complex aerothermal challenges. You enjoy turning simulations into real engineering insight and working closely with experienced engineers to push designs further.
