Join us in shaping the future of defense with groundbreaking aerospace innovations.\nWhat You´ll Do\nPerform design, analysis, and development of rocket motor and pyrotechnic articles.\nPerform in depth data and performance analysis with focus on iterative design and improvement.\nPrepare technical reports, qualification matrices, and compliance documentation in line with military and aerospace standards.\nDevelop tools and methodologies for the development, analysis or performance estimation of our rocket motors.\nSupport the development of TPS, nozzle and rocket motor sizing tools.\nSupport the design for qualification and certification of rocket motors in accordance with MIL-STD and STANAG standards.\nWork closely with design engineers on motor hardware design, insulation, and igniter integration to ensure certifiability from the start.\nSupport failure investigations, root cause analyses, and updates to design or test procedures to maintain compliance.\nCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to align design validation and certification timelines.\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Need\nMaster’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Propulsion Engineering.\nMin. 4-5 years of experience in rocket motor development.\nIn-depth knowledge of design and sizing of rocket motors and thermal protection systems.\nPrevious experience with coding and tool development.\nExperience qualifying rocket motors or ignition safe and arm devices according to NATO standards is a plus.\nHands-on experience with static firing tests, propellant handling, or motor integration.\nFamiliarity with pressure vessel design and combustion analysis is a benefit.\nStrong analytical and documentation skills - able to interpret data, write clear test reports, and maintain compliance records.\nComfortable working across disciplines - mechanical, thermal, materials, and systems engineering.\nWillingness to travel to different Destinus sites in Switzerland (max. 20%).\nWho You Are\nYou thrive in a high-intensity engineering environment where performance, safety, and precision are non-negotiable.
