We are looking for someone who is curious, reliable, comfortable working with Excel and systems, and eager to learn. You will work closely with experienced members of the Travel & Expense team who will help you build your knowledge and confidence as you gradually take on more responsibility.\nThis internship is offered for 4 months, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position based on business needs, performance, and mutual fit. Join us in shaping the future of defense with groundbreaking aerospace innovations.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport the processing and review of employee expenses, receipts, and related information\nHelp respond to employee questions about expenses, reimbursements, and internal processes\nCheck information carefully and follow up when something is missing or does not look right\nLearn how to investigate straightforward issues and find solutions with support from the team\nHelp keep Travel & Expense records and information accurate, complete, and organized\nSupport the team with reconciliations and other regular Finance activities\nLearn how our Travel & Expense systems and processes work and become confident using them\nUse Excel to review, organize, and work with financial and transactional information\nHelp identify problems and opportunities to improve the way we work\nCollaborate with the Travel & Expense team and other teams across Destinus\nRequirements\nWhat You'll Need\nYou are currently studying or have recently completed studies in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or another relevant field\nStrong attention to detail and a genuine interest in getting things right\nComfortable using Excel for everyday tasks and interested in developing your skills further\nAn interest in working with systems, data, and structured processes\nA practical approach to solving problems and the curiosity to understand why something does not look right\nThe confidence to ask questions when something does not make sense\nGood organizational skills and the ability to manage different tasks and priorities\nGood communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others\nA reliable, responsible, and proactive attitude\nFluency in English, our primary working language\nPrevious exposure to Finance, administration, customer service, operations, or another process-driven environment is a plus, but not required\nPrevious experience with Navan, Microsoft Dynamics, or other Finance systems is a plus, but definitely not required\nWe are more interested in your attitude, curiosity, and ability to learn than in previous job titles or professional experience.\nWho You Are\nYou are looking for more than an internship where you simply observe from the sidelines. You might not know Travel & Expense or Finance systems yet, and that is completely fine.
