This role will work closely with DevOps/SRE and Data Engineering to build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure, improve platform resilience, and accelerate delivery through infrastructure automation and DevOps best practices. The engineer will contribute to broader DevOps initiatives while ensuring our data platforms, including Snowflake and MongoDB Atlas, operate reliably and efficiently as DEUNA scales.\nWho You Are\n3-6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, or Platform Engineering, ideally supporting production data platforms.\nStrong AWS infrastructure and networking experience, including VPC, PrivateLink, Route 53, IAM, cross-account connectivity, and serverless services.\nHands-on experience operating both Snowflake and MongoDB Atlas, including their architecture, access management, networking, backups, performance monitoring, and cost optimization.\nProficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CDK, along with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.\nWorking knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, and OpenTelemetry, including monitoring and alerting.\nExperience with Python and SQL for automation, troubleshooting, and infrastructure operations.\nStrong understanding of cloud security, high availability, disaster recovery, and operational reliability.\nAbility to collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps/SRE, and Security teams while taking ownership of shared infrastructure and production reliability.\nProactive, automation-first mindset with strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and services supporting both DevOps and Data Engineering workloads.\nBuild and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CDK, along with CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments.\nManage and improve observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, and OpenTelemetry.\nSupport and optimize data platforms, including Snowflake and MongoDB Atlas, focusing on connectivity, performance, security, availability, and cost efficiency.\nImplement and maintain AWS networking solutions, including VPCs, PrivateLink, DNS, and secure cross-account connectivity.\nImprove infrastructure reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery through automation, multi-region architecture, backup strategies, and failover testing.\nImplement DevSecOps best practices, including IAM, secrets management, vulnerability management, security automation, and PCI DSS compliance controls.\nParticipate in infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous reliability improvements.\nCollaborate with DevOps/SRE, Security, and Data Engineering teams to standardize infrastructure, automate operational processes, and support engineering initiatives.\nDrive cloud cost optimization, infrastructure performance improvements, and operational efficiency across AWS and data
