The Business Manager works closely with various stakeholders inside the Bank; the mission of the Business Process Management team is to ensure that the bank’s end-to-end processes are and remain in line with both the business needs and the regulatory requirements while creating the best possible experience for our clients and advisors. The general aim is always for the bank to operate in the most efficient and sustainable way possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned processes to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, internal procedures and business priorities.

  • Drive continuous improvement and streamline business processes while ensuring effective project coordination with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Product, IT, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, etc.)

  • Prepare and coordinate operational readiness while liaising with control teams to establish appropriate governance and controls mechanisms.

  • Lead the creation, maintenance, and optimization of procedures and operational documentation.

  • Act as subject matter expert by developing and delivering clear communication and training materials to promote best practices and ensure consistent adoption of procedures across the organization.

Skills:

  • 2-5 years of professional experiencein Business Management, ideally within a sales or support role in the banking industry. Knowledge of daily banking (payments, accounts & regulatory processes) and/or digital customer journeys in a digitally transforming environment is considered an asset.

  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into sustainable and manageable processes.

  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to plan and prioritize tasks and work simultaneously on different subjects

  • A proactive, solution- and results oriented mindset, with the ability to challenge status quo and deliver solutions that balances business objectives with regulatory requirements.

  • Able to establish and maintain constructive working relationships and manage stakeholders in different areas (Sales, Legal, Compliance, Risk, IT, Operations).

  • Excellent communication (both written and oral) skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, structured and comprehensive manner.

  • Full professional proficiency in one of the local languages Dutch/French and good knowledge of French/Dutch, business proficiency of English.
