Your key responsibilities:
- Originate bond transactions in Japan DCM Investment Grade and SSA segment
- Due diligence of clients and markets; All facets of trade execution for bond deals
- Supporting legal documentation
- Participation in marketing efforts, leading preparation of client presentations and pitches
- Handling day to day client queries on all execution related matters
- Ensure compliance with the bank policies and guidelines and mitigate risk appropriately
Your skills and experience:
- At least 8 years of Debt capital markets in foreign bank - understand that general set-up and control requirements for a foreign institution
- Track record of having originated and executed USD, EUR, and/or AUD capital market transactions for Japanese SSA/FIG/Corp clients
- Entrepreneurial and client centric - can work independently and strategically to acquire new clients onto the Japan DCM platform, thinking about how to leverage various parts of the DB platform to deliver value to the client
- Proven client coverage and origination experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to multi task across clients, projects and geographies
- Rounded accounting and regulatory technical knowledge to appreciate significance of key contractual terms
- Strong communication skills and able to articulate to demanding clients
- Performing in-depth company and industry research to execute pitches and deals
- Robust knowledge of all investment banking products.

- Good market references from market participants
- Educated to university degree level with strong numerical ability.
- Excellent communication skills with Fluency in both Japanese and English.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
