Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/x)

Job Description:

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Work within software development projects as a Full-Stack Developer to build our next generation data platform to support the area of cash and self-service.

• Design and develop complete solutions in cooperation with business analysts, solution architects and other developers with the focus on gathering data from multiple sources via different means (e.g., APIs, flat files etc.), merging and transforming and finally providing required data to surrounding systems and vendors

• Define, set up and maintain the CI/CD pipelines

• Actively help to increase the stability and reliability of the developed solutions, identify and fix bugs and increase test automation level.

• Use your experience as a Full Stack Developer to evaluate and ensure that your solutions can be operated flawlessly on the same platform

• Act as a contact person for all software development-related topics and questions.

Skills:

• Professional experience and expert knowledge (also practical) in the area of Full-Stack Development of IT solutions/ applications with Java, Javascript and TypeScript.

• Experience and expert knowledge (also practical) of Continuous Integration /Continuous Deployment tools (e.g. Teamcity) and pattems for CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience and expert knowledge in source code management using Git/Bitbucket/Github

• Experience and expert knowledge (also practical) of automated testing

• Expert knowledge (also practical) of Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security, Angular,

• Expert knowledge in API development using web services (SOAP, REST), YAML and Swagger

• Expert knowledge in the area of DBMS, SQL and NoSQL.

• Advanced knowledge of Docker and native Kubernetes operations.

• Hands-on experience with API testing frameworks like Karate Framework and tools such as Postman/SoapUI.

• Familiarity with application monitoring and logging platforms (e.g., Splunk/Scribe).

• Familiarity with Deutsche Bank's internal platforms and tools, including DB-Fabric, DBnet3, ServiceNow and eCMS DM,

• Familiarity with Agil Project and issue tracking tools like HP ALM and JIRA.

• A passion for constantly learning and applying new technologies and programming languages in a constantly evolving web environment.

• Ability in familiarising yourself with large software systems.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills, strong independence and initiative, ability to work in agile delivery teams.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English; German is a plus.
