You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust governance framework across the AFC Operations production environment. The role will provide co-ordinate oversight of operational performance, lead governance forums and production review meetings, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and drive accountability for operational improvements, risk mitigation, and strategic change initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain consistent governance frameworks, standards and routines supporting AFC Operations production activities.

• Coordinate production reviews and operational governance forums, ensuring clear agendas, decisions, ownership, escalation and follow-through.

• Oversee production performance, service stability and operational health through key metrics, risk indicators and management information.

• Track and challenge operational risks, issues, remediation actions and improvement commitments, escalating material concerns appropriately.

• Act as a central coordination point between regional AFC Operations leads, senior stakeholders, operational teams and supporting functions.

• Prepare high-quality governance materials and executive updates, promoting transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.

Your skills and experience

• Strong experience within Operations, Governance, Business Management, Change or Business Analysis functions in financial services.

• Experience coordinating governance forums, production reviews and senior stakeholder meetings, with disciplined tracking of decisions and actions.

• Knowledge of operational risk and controls, including issue escalation, remediation oversight and service-performance monitoring.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience interpreting operational metrics, Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s)and risk indicators.

• Experience producing clear management information, governance packs and executive-level updates.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across operational divisions.
