The team establishes governance, monitoring and escalation procedures, maintains and enhances risk models, and advises stakeholders to support regulatory compliance and resilient investment portfolios.\nYour responsibilities:\nAs a Market and Liquidity Risk Analyst in Luxembourg, you will contribute to the independent investment risks analysis across DWS-managed funds. You will combine quantitative analysis with sound risk judgement, support regulatory and governance requirements, and work with colleagues across regions and functions to strengthen risk frameworks, tools and processes.\nAs our Market and Liquidity Risk Analyst, you will:\nReview risk models, model parameters and methodology updates, and contribute to model maintenance and enhancements.\nHelp develop and maintain market and liquidity risk governance frameworks, policies, procedures, monitoring standards and escalation processes in line with applicable regulatory requirements.\nSupport the development of systems and tools that automate and operationalise risk measurement, limitation, monitoring, reporting and escalation processes.\nContribute to local and global projects addressing market and liquidity risk requirements in collaboration with Risk, Portfolio Management, Product, Operations and other functions.\nPrepare clear risk analyses and discuss risk results and portfolio profiles with Senior Risk Managers, the Head of Risk and relevant stakeholders.\nWork closely with investment specialists, analysts and risk colleagues across DWS regions, including Frankfurt, Berlin, London, Hong Kong, Mumbai, New York and other locations.\nWe are looking for:\nUniversity degree, preferably in mathematics, statistics, quantitative finance, physics, economics or a related discipline.\nRelevant experience in asset management, preferably in risk management, portfolio management, data analysis or financial instrument analytics is considered a plus.\nGood knowledge of financial markets, asset management and financial instruments, including equities, fixed income and derivatives.\nUnderstanding of market and liquidity risk factors, methodologies and analytics; knowledge of regulatory frameworks applicable to investment funds is an advantage.\nStrong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and communicate conclusions clearly.\nExperience with data analysis applications; knowledge of Python, SQL is an advantage.\nExperience with implementation of AI solutions to enhance processes and quality of results\nAbility to work independently, take ownership of deliverables and collaborate effectively in an international, dynamic team.\nStrong communication skills and confidence engaging with various stakeholders.\nVery good English language skills; further language skills are an advantage.\nProven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.\nWhat we’ll offer you:\nAt DWS we’re serious about diversity, equity and creating an inclusive culture where colleagues can be themselves sand it’s important to us that you enjoy coming to work - feeling healthy, happy and rewarded.
