and cloud infrastructure supporting 24/7 Commodities IT services\nTake technical ownership throughout the infrastructure lifecycle, including implementation, configuration, patching, upgrades, performance optimisation, capacity planning and decommissioning\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, maintenance and operational processes using Ansible, Terraform, Git, Python and Shell scripting\nDevelop reusable automation components and self-service capabilities to reduce manual effort and improve consistency and reliability of infrastructure operations\nImplement platform security, system hardening and vulnerability remediation in coordination with Cyber Security and other relevant teams\nImprove monitoring, logging, metrics and alerting capabilities to strengthen observability and enable proactive operations across on-premises and cloud environments\nTroubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents, perform technical analysis and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions\nCoordinate infrastructure dependencies and technical activities with application, cloud, network, storage, database, data centre and security teams\nMaintain technical documentation, participate in agile team activities and contribute to the on-call rotation\nYour profile:\nUniversity degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a comparable discipline, or equivalent professional experience\nAt least seven years of hands-on experience in systems or infrastructure engineering, including work in business-critical production environments\nStrong administration and troubleshooting experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux\nStrong experience with virtualised infrastructure, preferably VMware vSphere, ESXi and vCenter\nExperience automating infrastructure processes using Ansible, Terraform, Git, Python or Shell scripting\nStrong experience operating on-premises infrastructure, together with practical exposure to cloud infrastructure and services\nExperience with infrastructure monitoring, logging, metrics and alerting\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities combined with a structured approach and a strong sense of ownership\nEffective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to coordinate technical activities with internal specialist teams\nProfessional proficiency in English\nNice to have:\nExperience with Red Hat Satellite and Ansible Automation Platform\nHands-on experience operating and automating cloud infrastructure\nExperience with Kubernetes or OpenShift\nExperience with modern monitoring, logging and observability platforms\nKnowledge of high availability, backup, recovery and disaster recovery concepts\nPractical experience with AI-assisted tools for infrastructure
