Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Linux-focused engineer to join our international enterprise application team at T-Systems.

You will work with global customers, supporting business-critical applications in Linux environments, handling troubleshooting, migrations, upgrades, and technical consulting

What you will do

• Support and operate enterprise application environments
• Troubleshoot Linux, database, and application issues
• Perform migrations, upgrades, and system changes
• Work with Oracle/PostgreSQL, Apache, SSL/TLS, and SSO
• Communicate directly with international customers
• Collaborate with operations and development teams

Qualifications

What we are looking for

• Education in Business or IT; having a degree in Business Information Management, Information Technology or at least 2 years of experience as Service or DevOps Engineer
• Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL / SLES)
• Shell scripting and SQL knowledge
• Oracle and/or PostgreSQL experience
• Good troubleshooting skills
• English AND German communication skills (B2)

Nice to have

• Apache / Tomcat
• Docker / Kubernetes
• Git
• Basic Java knowledge

Knowledge of the specific applications is not required - training will be provided.
