What we absolutely need from you is:\nInnovation focus\nCustomer Obsession\nGrowth Mindset\nOur Guiding Principles\nDelight our Customers\nGet things Done\nRespect & Integrity\nOne Team\nOwnership (I am T - Count on Me)\nCuriosity & Growth\nWhat We Will Trust You With\n· Planning, implementation, development and testing of HW/ SW components for the company backbone and data center networks (Layer 2&3 networks interconnects company datacenters & cloud instances inside company as well as external partner/client networks).\n· Preparation of technical feasibility studies, design proposals and execution of POCs for the networks.\n· Communication with 3rd parties/vendors during tendering process (RFI/RFQ) or during definition of requirements on network design.\n· Integration of new technologies (HW/ SW), definition of upgrade strategies for HW/SW and lifecycle plans for the networks.\n· Preparation of vendor specific configuration templates\n· Define the network monitoring metrics and KPIs and track the performance of systems; apply the collected statistics for network dimensioning and capacity planning.\n· Develop network automation and network monitoring/telemetry products by using tools, methodologies & technologies such as git, CI/CD, pipeline, network abstraction, Network as Code, etc.\n· Participate on solving and eliminating of ops issues - perform 2nd level support (rotating on-call duty required)\n· Preparation of the techn. documentation through the lifecyle of networks, e.g., design, updates of the code, etc.\n· Design, Build and 2nd and 3rd line of operations of IP backbone network and data center undelay networks.\n· Development and Operations of network functions for provioning and assurance.\n· Ensuring Infrastructure availability with all its attributes (performance, cost, capacity, reliability).\n· Coordination among multiple development groups and close collaboration with infrastructure teams, SOC, NatCos and 3rd party providers.\nAbout You\nWe are looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong teamwork and communication skills.\nWhat You Will Need\n· Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science, Telecomunication Engineering, Information Systems or related field.\n· More than five years’ experience in area of network platforms design and testing, competence in carrier grade backbone / datacenter network engineering.\n· Operational experience in networks’ troubleshooting and root cause analysis\n· English language - fluent (verbal and written communication skills)\n· Knowledge of other EU working languages would be an asset\n· Excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills, resourcefulness and initiative\n· Ability to multitask in a busy and demanding environment\n· Strong analytical and conceptual skills\n· Ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive information\n· Excellent problem solving ability\n· Strategic thinking\n· Self-motivated\n· Highly collaborative\n· Flexibility to travel\n· Network Skills:\n· Advanced layer 2 & 3 networks (e.g., IPv6, BGP, ISIS/OSPF, QoS, multicast, V/VXLAN, EVPN, Routing & Switching, MPLS etc.);\n· Extensive knowledge of carrier grade / data center network hardware, routing, switching, network security and telecommunication circuits from major vendors, in particular Juniper, Cisco or Huawei (e.g Juniper QFX experience, Cisco Nexus experience)\n· Experience on Linux networking, container networking and cloud networking;\n· Knowledge on model driven network programmability.\n· Platform Skills:\n· Linux Administration / container fundamentals;\n· Cloud fundamentals (e.g., openstack, SDN).\n· Programming Skills:\n· Data Formats (e.g., JSON, YAML, etc);\n· Python and APIs (e.g., REST, NETCONF, etc);\n· Source Control (e.g., git, GitLab, etc) ;\n· Configuration Management (e.g., Ansible, etc)\n· CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certification preferred\n· MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, Project)\nAbout What We Can Offer\nFlexible & remote work\nVery competitive annual bonus scheme\nMeal vouchers\nPrivate insurance\nCool office spaces in Thessaloniki and Athens\nA new team that will support and challenge you on your path to growth\nExtra days off\nOpportunities to travel and work all around the world\n… and many more\nYou know the job.
