A Role with Purpose and Impact  

Dev Technology is supporting the operations, maintenance, and continued enhancement of a mission-essential platform in an environment built primarily on Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power Platform Government, and Azure. 

In this role, you will help configure, extend, troubleshoot, and improve Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities that support case and matter management, reporting, dashboards, approval processes, knowledge management, and day-to-day user needs. You will partner closely with the client development and maintenance teams as well as the inhouse Helpdesk and Government users. 

This role is designed for a hands-on Microsoft platform specialist who can move comfortably between configuration, development, troubleshooting, customer support, and release planning in a secure federal environment. 

Dynamics 365 Delivery and User Support  

This role blends Dynamics 365/Power Platform development with configuration and advanced user support. You will: 

• Configure and extend Dynamics 365 Online and Power Platform capabilities to meet evolving business requirements. 

• Develop and maintainreports, Advanced Find views, queries, dashboards, approval processes, and knowledge base/customer service portal capabilities. 

• Configure Dynamics CRM organizations and support release management, deployment, and troubleshooting for release-ready solutions. 

• Work directly with the client’sTasking System users to provide technical assistance, configuration support, training, and solutions that may not require a formal release. 

• Partner with development and maintenance teams to identifyrecurring needs, inform future release features, and translate user issues into practical configuration or development changes. 

• Apply a user-first approach and sound UI/UX practiceswhen developing or modifyinguser-facing capabilities, with a focus on usability, consistency, and user adoption. 

You will remain close to both the platform and its users-troubleshooting issues, validating changes, supporting testing, maintaining documentation, and helping ensure Dynamics 365 capabilities remain secure, supportable, and aligned with the agency standards.

The Opportunity  

This role offers the opportunity to support and enhance a mission-critical case management platform used across the client agency. You will influence both day-to-day user experience and the longer-term evolution of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities, from rapid configuration changes through formal releases and integrations. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Configure, customize, maintain, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. 

• Extend Dynamics 365 functionality using approved technologies, including .NET Framework and JavaScript frameworks used within theclientenvironment. 

• Develop and maintainreports, dashboards, queries, views, workflows/approval processes, and customer service or knowledge-management capabilities. 

• Provide dedicated Tier III Dynamics 365/Power Platform development and analyst support to the inhousehelpdesk and federal end users. 

• Configure Dynamics CRM organizations and support application release management, deployment, troubleshooting, and production readiness. 

• Integrate Dynamics 365 capabilities with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, identity services, Exchange Online, and otherclientsystems as required. 

• Participate in unit, system, interoperability, regression, and user-focused testing before production deployment. 

• Support Agile development and CI/CD practices, including source/configuration management and controlled deployment of application changes using Government-provided tools such as Jira, GitHubEnterprise, and/or Azure DevOps Server. 

• Support access, permission, and configuration management activities while maintainingcompliance with agency security and lifecycle standards. 

• Create and maintaintechnical documentation, knowledge articles, FAQs, procedures, and training materials. 

• Provide user training and support sessionsand help identifyopportunities for process, usability, and platform improvements. 

Required Qualifications  

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, including directexperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform. 

• Hands-on experience configuring, customizing, supporting, and troubleshooting Microsoft Dynamics 365 in an enterprise environment. 

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and development/configuration of business processes, reports, dashboards, views, queries, and approvalworkflows. 

• Experience extending Dynamics 365 using .NET Framework and JavaScript; familiarity with React and/or jQuery is relevant to the current technical stack. 

• Experience supporting application releases, deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and production support. 

• Ability to work with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, identity/authentication, and enterprise integration dependencies. 

• Experience producing clear technical/user documentation and working directly with end users to diagnose needs and provide training. 

• Working knowledge of Agile development, source control, and CI/CD practices. 

Preferred Qualifications  

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Government / Power Platform Government or another regulated Microsoft cloud environment. 

• Experience supporting federal civilian or DHSsystems and formal security/change-control processes. 

• Experience with Azure services, Entra ID, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, or related Azure integration capabilities. 

• Experience with SharePoint integration, customer service portals, knowledge bases, and enterprise document-managementworkflows. 

• Familiarity with UI/UX and user-centered design principles for enterprise business applications. 

• Relevant, current Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and/or Azure certifications. 

Our estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - 120,000, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
