models;\n\nDesign, develop and implement proof of concept and production-ready middleware and back-end services either stand-alone or to be consumed by other applications/layers;\n\nDebugging and troubleshooting;\n\nCreate extensible, modular middleware/back-end services to be used by other layers;\n\nResearch and development in a variety of problem domains;\n\nPrepare documentation and ensure proper security and compliance with our coding standards.\n\nRequirements\nEssential requirements:\nKnowledge of Pandas, Numpy, Scikit, or other ML libraries;\n\nExtensive knowledge of multi-paradigm programming (OO, functional, procedural);\n\nPython, Django, Tornado, Flask, SQL and Python ORMs, RESTful services, pub/sub, Amazon AWS, Linux/Unix, TDD, Virtualenv;\n\nExperience and knowledge of distributed systems, SOA, or microservices architectures;\n\nHave designed and implemented scalable, distributed application systems;\n\nProblem-solving, complexity analysis, and algorithm design;\n\nAdvanced English, both spoken and written.\n\nDesirable requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related, or 7 years equivalent work experience;\n\nCouchBase or other NoSQL experience a plus;\n\nMQTT, Rabbit MQ, or Redis;\n\nContinuous Integration/Continuous Deployment a plus;\n\nStability and Capacity patterns a big
