You will work alongside data platform engineers, analytics engineers, and infrastructure specialists to create scalable data pipelines, reliable data models, and high-quality data products.\nYou won't be handed in a ticket queue. You'll help shape architecture, advise clients on platform strategy, and translate ambiguous business needs into clear technical solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platform components.\n\nDevelop robust data models and abstractions that enable analytics and reporting.\n\nAdvise clients on data platform strategy and help translate business requirements into sound technical architectures.\n\nImplement ELT/ETL pipelines and ensure data quality across systems.\n\nCollaborate with analytics engineers, platform engineers, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, end-to-end data solutions.\n\nContribute to the design and evolution of modern cloud data platforms.\n\nChampion engineering quality - testing, documentation, and performance are not afterthoughts here.\n\nRequirements\nRequired Skills and Experience\nProven experience in Data Engineering, Data Modeling or Data Platform Engineering (typically 4-6 years).\n\nGood understanding of Data Lakehouse architecture.\n\nHands-on experience with dbt, SQL, and Python.\n\nExperience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.\n\nComfortable working in a client-facing or consulting environment, building trust and communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and an engineering mindset.\n\nNice to Have:\nExperience with Spark / PySpark.\n\nUnderstanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK).\n\nFamiliarity with the full software development lifecycle.\n\nSoft Skills\nStrong communication skills; you can hold your own in a room with both engineers and business stakeholders.\n\nProactive ownership mindset: you spot problems early and drive them to resolution.\n\nComfortable in the messy middle: consulting means requirements evolve, and you adapt without losing momentum.\n\nWillingness to lead discussions, not just contribute to them.
