Monitor database performance, tune queries, and optimize storage usage. Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. Ensure data consistency and integrity across replicated environments. Collaborate with application teams to support development and deployment activities. Maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Progress DBA. Hands-on experience with Pro2SQL replication setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of Progress 4GL / OpenEdge database architecture. Proficiency in SQL Server administration and query optimization. Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows server environments. Familiarity with database security best practices. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.\nPreferred\nQualifications: Experience with cloud-hosted Progress environments. Knowledge of ETL processes and data migration strategies.
