Let’s fuse creativity with technology together and build innovative solutions that actively change things for the better.\n We are looking for a Big Data Platform Administrator to operate and maintain large-scale Hadoop-based data lake environments for a leading financial services organization.\nResponsibilities:\nOperate, monitor, and support Hadoop-based data lake platforms;\nProvide incident response, deep troubleshooting, and performance tuning across big data components;\nEnsure data integrity, replication, capacity management, and resource allocation within HDFS clusters;\nDevelop, maintain, and automate monitoring and alerting for platform services and node health;\nSupport onboarding of new workloads in collaboration with platform and data teams;\nApply patches, upgrades, and configuration changes to maintain cluster stability and security;\nManage authentication, authorization, and encryption: Kerberos, Ranger/Sentry, TLS;\nWork closely with storage, network, and security teams to optimize throughput, access controls, and backup strategies;\nMaintain platform documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.\n Minimum 5 years of experience in Big Data / Hadoop platform administration;\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent;\nStrong knowledge of Hadoop, Cloudera, YARN, Kafka;\nSolid expertise in Linux, JVM tuning, system-level troubleshooting, and distributed environments;\nExperience with PostgreSQL / SQL databases;\nAutomation skills using Ansible, Python, Java;\nStrong background in Kerberos, cryptography, and access control policies;\nUnderstanding of microservices architectures and on-premise deployments;\nFluency in English (mandatory);\nExperience in banking or regulated environments is a plus.\n Devoteam Group works for equal opportunities, promoting its employees based on merit and actively fights against all forms of discrimination.
