The Business Controller will play a key role in providing financial insights, analysis, and decision support to senior management, enabling strategic planning and business performance optimization. This position requires a proactive individual with strong financial acumen and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive results.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nFinancial Analysis and Reporting:\nAnalyse financial data, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.\n\nPrepare regular financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning processes.\n\nBudgeting and Forecasting:\nCoordinate the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities, working closely with departmental leaders to develop accurate and achievable financial targets.\n\nMonitor budget performance, identify deviations from plan, and recommend corrective actions as needed to achieve financial goals.\n\nBusiness Partnering:\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and marketing, to provide financial guidance and support for key business initiatives.\n\nPartner with departmental leaders to develop and evaluate business cases, investment proposals, and pricing strategies.\n\nCost Analysis and Control:\nConduct cost analysis and cost-benefit assessments to optimise resource allocation and improve cost efficiency.\n\nImplement cost control measures and monitor spending against budgeted targets to ensure financial discipline and accountability.\n\nFinancial Modeling and Scenario Analysis:\nDevelop financial models and scenarios to evaluate strategic opportunities, assess risks, and inform decision-making.\n\nPerform sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess the impact of various business drivers on financial performance.\n\n Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.\n\nUp to 4 years of experience in financial analysis, business controlling, or related roles.\n\nStrong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of Excel and financial management software\n\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\n\nEffective communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to distil complex financial information into actionable insights.\n\nProactive attitude, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\n\n The Devoteam Group works for equal opportunities, promoting its employees based on merit and actively fights against all forms of discrimination.
