We support the development of talent and careers, knowing that success is the result of collaboration. \n\nBecause alone, we go faster - but together, we go further.\nValues:\nRespect\nFrankness\nPassion\nTo know more about us, please visit:www.devoteam.com\nJoin Devoteam and be part of a dynamic, innovative team driving technology solutions that make a real impact\n The AWS Cloud Solutions Architect is a senior technical lead who supervises AWS migration and transformation projects and makes sure the work the delivery teams produce is right, sets technical direction, reviews and signs off designs and deliverables, and steps in when teams meet technical problems they cannot resolve on their own.\nYou will work with delivery engineers, project managers, client stakeholders, AWS and third-party vendors, and hold the work to AWS best practice and the client's security and quality requirements.\nRoles and responsibilities:\nMigration oversight\nLead and oversee cloud migration activities across projects, tracking technical progress against scope, plan and project objectives.\nReview migration assessments, wave plans and the migration approach chosen for each workload (rehost, replatform, refactor and the other 7 Rs).\nReview cutover, rollback and hypercare plans before each migration wave, and confirm technical readiness for go-live.\nMonitor technical risks and issues during execution, and agree mitigation actions with the delivery teams.\nDesign and deliverable review\nReview and approve solution designs (HLDs and LLDs), architecture diagrams and technical standards produced by the delivery teams.\nReview project deliverables, such as landing zone designs, migration runbooks, test plans, operational handover documents and as-built documentation, for quality, completeness and compliance with agreed requirements.\nDefine review checklists, acceptance criteria and quality gates for technical deliverables, and track review findings through to closure.\nCheck that designs follow the AWS Well-Architected Framework across security, reliability, performance, cost and operations.\nConfirm that security and regulatory controls are covered in designs and evidenced in deliverables.\nTechnical guidance\nProvide architectural guidance and AWS best practices to delivery teams throughout the migration and transformation lifecycle.\nAdvise on key technical decisions: account structure and landing zone, network and hybrid connectivity, identity, backup and disaster recovery, and tooling.\nCoach engineers and solution leads through design reviews, and share lessons learned and reusable patterns across projects.\nStakeholder and vendor collaboration\nWork with project teams, client stakeholders, AWS and third-party vendors to resolve technical challenges and blockers.\nRepresent the technical position in steering and status meetings, and explain design trade-offs and risks to technical and non-technical audiences.\nAct as the escalation point for technical disagreements and decisions on the projects you supervise.\nTechnical governance\nSupport technical governance, design reviews and decision-making across cloud projects, keeping a record of key decisions and their rationale.\nContribute to the practice's review templates, standards and reference architectures.\nSupport pre-sales when needed with solution reviews and technical input to proposals.\n Required:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.\n7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure or IT consulting, with at least 4 years on AWS.\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.\nExperience overseeing or leading the technical delivery of enterprise migrations to AWS.\nProven experience reviewing and approving solution designs and technical deliverables.\nBroad knowledge of AWS services across compute, storage, databases, networking, identity and security, enough to judge the quality of a design.\nGood understanding of migration methods and tooling and of landing zone concepts \nUnderstanding of Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices, enough to review how delivery teams apply them.\nExperience managing technical risks and working with vendors and client stakeholders.\nStrong written and spoken English, and the ability to write clear, actionable review feedback.\nArabic language skills.\nPreferred:\nAWS Specialty certifications (Security, Advanced Networking) or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer -
