The role focuses on enabling organizations to migrate, modernize, and optimize their workloads on the cloud by defining architecture strategies, implementing cloud foundations, and enabling DevOps practices that support automated and reliable delivery.\nRoles and responsibilities:\nDesign end-to-end cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform supporting enterprise workloads and cloud-native applications\nLead workload migration from on-premise or other cloud platforms to Google Cloud using structured migration frameworks and best practices.\nDefine DevOps and platform engineering architectures including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and release management\nDefine migration strategies including rehost, replatform, refactor, rebuild, and replace approaches\nDesign and implement cloud landing zones aligned with security, governance, and compliance requirements\nArchitect scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions leveraging GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, GKE, and Cloud Run\nLead migration assessments including application discovery, dependency mapping, and migration wave planning\nCollaborate with engineering teams to implement Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Terraform\nEnsure operational readiness through monitoring, logging, and reliability best practices\nProvide technical leadership and architecture guidance throughout cloud migration and modernization programs\nSupport pre-sales activities including architecture workshops, and technical proposal development\nContribute to internal capability development, best practices, and reusable architecture patterns\n Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field\n5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or cloud consulting roles\nStrong experience designing solutions on Google Cloud Platform\nGoogle Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification\nExperience leading enterprise workload migrations to public cloud environments\nExperience implementing DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation\nStrong understanding of cloud infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, and identity management\nExperience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred)\nExperience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or similar tools\nStrong understanding of cloud networking including VPC design, hybrid connectivity, and security controls\nExcellent communication skills and ability to present architecture solutions to technical and business stakeholders\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong understanding of cloud network architecture including the DR and cloud services and replication methodologies \nDeep expertise in core infrastructure services (e.g. AD, DNS, DHCP, ADFS)\nExperience with automated infrastructure discovery and application dependency mapping tools\nKnowledge of cloud cost management and optimization strategies, including FinOps principles\nFamiliarity with agile software development practices, DevSecOps integration, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins)\nFamiliarity with Database technologies (e.g. Oracle, SAP)\nAdditional architecture certifications in AWS or Azure (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)\nKnowledge of local and international compliance and regulatory frameworks (NCA, SAMA, ISO 27001)\nExperience in a client-facing, consulting role is highly desirable\nExperience with
