Forward Deployed Engineer – GenAI, Prague

As a Forward Deployed Engineer - GenAI , you will work directly with our clients to design, build, and deploy sophisticated GenAI solutions.

You will bridge the gap between client-side engineering needs, AI architecture, and technical consulting. Working side by side with our clients' engineering teams, you will turn initial ideas and prototypes into robust, secure, and scalable applications for productive use.

Unlike in a purely advisory role, you won't stop at concepts and presentations: You will develop, integrate, test, and optimize solutions directly with the client. You will focus heavily on agentic applications, multi-agent systems, RAG architectures, and the integration of Large Language Models into existing enterprise landscapes.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop complex GenAI applications from early concept to production deployment.
• Design and implement agentic workflows and multi-agent systems.
• Build production-ready applications using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Connect GenAI solutions to existing APIs, data platforms, enterprise applications, and legacy systems.
• Design RAG architectures and data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate foundation models and Large Language Models into secure enterprise architectures.
• Develop evaluation, monitoring, and observability solutions for GenAI applications.
• Ensure developed systems meet strict requirements for quality, security, data privacy, scalability, and latency.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions and engineering workshops with clients.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into actionable solution architectures.
• Co-develop alongside client engineering teams and support them in adopting modern software engineering and AI engineering practices.
• Identify recurring technical patterns to build reusable components, accelerators, and internal frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with our AI/ML Consultants, Cloud Architects, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers.
• Support selected pre-sales activities, technical demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept.

What we expect from you:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Multi-year experience in software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Strong programming skills in Python or a comparable language.
• Practical experience in building production-ready AI or GenAI applications.
• Experience in architecting distributed or cloud-based AI systems.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and foundation model integration.
• Hands-on experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Experience with multi-agent systems or agentic workflows.
• Experience with frameworks such as LangGraph, Google Agent Development Kit, LangChain, CrewAI, or similar technologies.
• Experience with APIs, containerized applications, and modern software engineering practices.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, testing, deployment, and monitoring for AI applications.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Enthusiasm for direct collaboration with clients and their engineering teams.
• Fluency in English.

Google Cloud Experience is Helpful, but Not Required. You don't need to know Google Cloud inside out from day one. What matters more to us is solid experience in building modern AI systems, strong software engineering skills, and the drive to quickly get up to speed on Google Cloud, Vertex AI, and Gemini.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Google Cloud, Vertex AI, Gemini, or comparable cloud AI platforms.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol servers and tool integrations.
• Knowledge of agent patterns such as ReAct, Reflection, Planning, or hierarchical delegation.
• Experience with evaluation frameworks for LLMs and agentic systems.
• Understanding of LLM-specific metrics such as latency, tokens per second, cost per query, and success rates.
• Experience with LLMOps or MLOps.
• Knowledge of IAM, network security, data privacy, and governance for enterprise AI applications.
• Experience in a consulting, professional services, or client-facing engineering environment.
• Experience moving Proofs of Concept into production-ready solutions.
• Relevant certifications in Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
