Bridge Design Process\nSite/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.\nPreparation of all associated calculations, reports, and spreadsheets.\nCollaborating and managing design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.\nCoordinating with client, other engineers, planners, reviewers, etc.\nMay also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.\nAssist with site plan approvals in the area.\nConstruction cost estimating.\nStrong technical skills in hydraulic modeling and restrained joint pipe design software is a plus\nUniform Act Requirements for ROW Acquisitions\nUtility Coordination\nRequired Skills & Required Experience\nBachelors Degree in Civil Engineering is required\nFlorida Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain reciprocity\n5 to 10 years’ experience of increasing levels of project and client responsibilities for public sector projects and a minimum of five (5) years related experience in general civil engineering with an emphasis on civil site design and/or highway/roadway design, as well as stormwater management/watershed analysis.\nA successful track record of managing projects, including scope, schedule and budget\nConstruction administration experience in municipal work is encouraged.\nAbility to write technical proposals is a plus\nStrong verbal and report writing skills required\nKnowledge of Florida Department of Transportation specifications, policies, and procedures.\nUse software such as Revit, GIS, Civil 3D, AutoCAD or MicroStation with Inroads and Bluebeam to assist in project design and analysis.\nStormCAD, PondPack, SewerGEMS, for stormwater modeling.\nExperience with Traffic Analysis, Traffic Modeling, and application of MUTCD is encouraged.\nJoin Dewberry and be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the communities we serve.
