This position is responsible for directing and coordinating all aspects of project delivery, including client management, project planning, budget and schedule oversight, technical review, quality assurance, permitting, and construction support.\nWorking with multidisciplinary teams of planners, engineers, landscape architects, and consultants, the Lead Project Manager ensures projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and company standards. Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.\nResponsibilities\nPrepares and manages project scopes, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and overall project financial performance.\nServes as the primary client contact for assigned residential home builder and developer accounts.\nCoordinates and directs multidisciplinary project teams, including planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, surveying, and other technical disciplines.\nEnsures project deliverables meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, company standards, and established schedules.\nServes as the primary quality assurance and quality control reviewer for assigned projects, ensuring technical accuracy, completeness, and consistency.\nOversees entitlement, permitting, agency review, and construction support activities.\nLeads project meetings and coordinates communication among clients, agencies, consultants, contractors, field personnel, and internal staff.\nCoordinates with construction and field personnel to address project issues, facilitate implementation, and resolve design, permitting, and site-related challenges.\nIdentifies project risks and develops solutions to maintain project schedules, budgets, and client satisfaction.\nTracks project progress, milestones, and commitments through completion.\nSupports business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client relationship management, and identification of additional service opportunities.\nProvides mentorship and guidance to project team members.\nConducts site visits and attends client, agency, and construction coordination meetings as required.\nOther duties as required.\nRequired Skills & Required Experience\nBachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in land development, residential development, builder services, or related consulting fields.\nDemonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects and client relationships.\nStrong understanding of residential land development, including entitlement, permitting, agency review, site design, grading, infrastructure, and construction practices.\nExperience preparing and managing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and staffing plans.\nAbility to coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.\nExperience working with residential builders, developers, contractors, and public agencies preferred.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.\nSelf-motivated with strong leadership, initiative, and decision-making abilities.\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
