Applicant must be responsible, highly motivated, and a detail-oriented individual interested in joining our Land Surveying department. Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.\nResponsibilities\nAssist survey staff with all aspects of a survey project.\nAssist with the business development and preparation of contracts.\nCoordinate with Survey Department manager, office staff & field staff with daily workload, schedules and needs.\nFollow policy & procedures to ensure all deliverables are done accurately and efficiently.\nQA/QC Plats prior to Manager review.\nAssist with prepare budgets / proposals, marketing / business development and monthly invoicing\nWork both independently and in group environments.\nRequired Skills & Required Experience\nMust have High School Diploma, degree in Land Surveying a plus.\nActive Land Surveying license required for North Carolina or ability to obtain.\nMust have a minimum of five (5) years of survey experience and project management.\nMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nMust have the ability to work and interact with clients.\nMust be proficient with all aspects of computing, drafting, and CAD standards.\nMust be proficient with AutoCAD, Carlson Civil, Survey Suite. Microstation/GeoPak is a plus.\nMust have a diverse survey experience including: Boundary surveys, topographic surveys, route surveys, construction stakeout and transportation surveys.\nMust be proficient with GPS/GNS systems and use of RTK/VRS and post processing of survey data (Static - Network Least Squares Reduction).\nMust have the ability to perform deed research, process field data collector files; resolve boundaries and prepare CAD files, metes and bounds descriptions, and final plats.\nMust have the ability to perform all aspects of an ALTA Survey.\nMust be dependable, conscientious, self-motivated and driven.\nMust be able to work overtime as required.\nMust be willing and able to do short term travel.\nMust have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.\nMust pass a mandatory drug test.\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
