Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.\nResponsibilities\nSupervises all staff necessary to complete assignments.\nProvides daily on-site construction management and site inspections to verify compliance with plans, specifications, codes and other contract documents\nManages CPM project schedule and budget, including preparation and negotiation of change orders\nCoordinates with design engineer to ensure timely review of Contractor submittals and issuance of RFI responses\nReviews and recommends payment of construction progress payments.\nInteracts with client on a regular basis and builds positive working relationships\nHolds regular project progress meetings and provide updates to client and Construction Manager regarding critical issues and risks.\nAssists Construction Manager in preparation of proposals to provide professional services.\nRequired Skills & Required Experience\n10+ years’ experience as Resident Engineer on water/wastewater projects\nBachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering or closely related field.\nNY Professional Engineer (PE) License required\nConstruction Management Association of America Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred\nExcellent communications and client relations skills\nMust have the ability to manage a large staff of field personnel and work as a team player\nWorking knowledge of project management information software e-Builder preferred\nMust have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
