Our commitment to excellence stems from our integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.\nResponsibilities\nManage electrical, mechanical, and structural design teams on a variety of water/wastewater infrastructure projects for public utility and private clients.\nManage planning, design, and construction phase projects while interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines, technicians, inspectors, and permitting specialists.\nCoordinate with Design Discipline Managers to schedule, plan and assign appropriate personnel.\nEffectively understand and communicate project expectations to MEPS Infrastructure project team and Client (both internal and external).\nPrepare design proposals, support project pursuits, and engage in client management and business development activities.\nEmploy earned value and quality management principles to prepare and monitor project work plans, schedule, and budget. Oversee deliverable submission and ensure coordination through all disciplines and consultants involved.\nContribute to the continued growth of MEPS Infrastructure through attending conferences, supporting articles professional publications, and actively participating in State and/or National professional associations through committee involvement and technical presentations.\nRequired Skills & Required Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.\n10+ years of progressive design and project management experience, minimum 5+ years in the water/wastewater market.\n Accomplished Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, or ability to obtain them through reciprocity within 90 days of start date.\nExperience coordinating engineering work and interfacing with other disciplines as needed.\nExperience interfacing with clients.\nSelf-motivated with highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills.\nWell organized, with good understanding of electrical, mechanical, and process control systems with general knowledge of applicable codes, national standards, water/wastewater equipment and plant operation, space requirements, and cost.\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
