This position offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a large team of traffic engineers. Projects will range from local community-focused safety and multimodal projects to large highway improvement projects. This position offers tremendous career growth potential in a highly collaborative environment while working on broad range of project types for local and national transportation clients.\nPrimary responsibilities include performing traffic operational analysis for large scale complex infrastructure projects, traffic modeling and microsimulation (VISSIM and Synchro/SimTraffic) and safety analysis. The position also allows for a wide range of opportunities including traffic control device design.\nThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-12 years of traffic modeling and traffic engineering experience including experience on NYCDOT and NYSDOT projects. Applicants must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to monitor schedule and budgets, work in groups, and lead and mentor a group of traffic engineers.
