This opportunity is open in our Lanham Maryland office.\nThis position requires seven (7) plus years of experience in civil design of land development activities including: design of grading, storm water management, soil erosion & sediment control, public and private roadways, storm drainage and water & sewer design. The selected candidate will become part of a growing team that provides complete, comprehensive land development services to a variety of clients. This position requires subject matter knowledge and breadth/depth experience to move projects from concept to completion including design work, plan and permit processing, and construction phase services.\nIndividual will be responsible for preparation and coordination of all Land Development design aspects; work closely with Senior Project Manager and agency staff.\nDewberry is a leading, market-facing professional services firm with more than 60 locations and 2,500 professionals nationwide. Both vary based on level within the program and bonuses are dependent upon company performance.\nIn addition, a host of discounted purchase programs are available to all employees.\nResponsibilities\nSelected candidate will be part of a multi-discipline team who design and develop construction plans for site civil/infrastructure projects.\nSpecific work may include but is not limited to:\nClient communication\nConstruction document (plan and specifications) and technical reports preparation and/or oversight\nEngineering analyses and cost estimates\nQuality control/quality assurance in order to deliver a quality design product.\nOther duties as required.\nRequired Skills & Required Experience\nBS Degree in Civil Engineering or proven equal experience.\nThree (3) years of experience directly related to the design and execution of Land Development Projects required. Five or more years preferred.\nFE required. PE in the State of Maryland preferred.\nPreparation of reports, exhibits and Site/Civil Construction Plans.\nStrong technical capabilities in various Software Applications including but not limited to:\nAutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Abode Acrobat.\nStrong understanding of civil site design for retail, commercial, residential, and urban redevelopment projects required.\nProficiency in Civil 3D or other model-based software is desirable.\nExperienced individual must be capable of delivering projects that meet technical requirements on time and within budget.\nSkill sets must include the ability to perform and /or direct civil related engineering work on diverse design projects across various market segments and with varying degrees of complexity.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to become proficient in Dewberry engineering practices, standards, and Dewberry-specific software programs.\nThe salary range for this position is $94,000-$120,000 in our Lanham, MD office.\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
