The Project Engineer will perform a variety of civil engineering functions in support of a growing, multi-disciplinary site development design group. Certain positions are also eligible to receive overtime pay, whereas all non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime (subject to approval).\nIn addition, a host of discounted purchase programs are available to all employees.\nResponsibilities\nThe work required by the Project Engineer is diverse and ranges from general civil engineering duties to technical work that requires strong capabilities in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Hydraulics Software and Adobe Acrobat. \nThe Project Engineer will also be required to learn and become proficient in Dewberry engineering practices and standards, and other Dewberry-specific software programs.\nRequired Skills & Required Experience\nBS degree in Civil Engineering.\nPE is required.\n5-10 years of progressive design experience directly related to site/civil development projects in the PA and/or NJ areas.\nExperience in Stormwater Management Design techniques\nSupports Practice Leads and Management. \nMeets project and client deadlines.\nWorks in a timely fashion to meet project budgets.\nPrepares graphics, exhibits, site/civil construction plans and specifications.\nCommunicates effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff.\nComposes technical reports, permit documents, memorandums and other written communication such as email.\nHandles multiple concurrent projects.\nWorking knowledge of NJ and/or PA land development permitting and approval processes\nProficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D\nOther duties as required.\nDriving is a requirement of the position.
