The successful candidate will work on all phases of transportation projects for a variety of public and private sector clients.Transportation projects will include horizontal and vertical road alignments, drainage systems, storm water management, traffic studies, utility relocations, development of maintenance of traffic plans, and preparation of contract documents. The successful candidate must be flexible, technologically savvy, and client focused. Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.\nRequired Skills & Required Experience\nBS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.\nVA PE license, or the ability to obtain within 1 year.\n3-8 years of experience in transportation engineering.\nProficient with Microstation.\nAbility to work in a timely fashion to meet project budgets.\nAbility to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff.\nAbility to compose technical reports, memorandums, and other written communication.\nAbility to handle multiple concurrent projects.\nThe projected range for this position is $88,000 - $113,000 annually.
