Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.\nRequired Skills & Required Experience\n8+ years of experience in water resources engineering for transportation projects\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field\nLicensed Professional Engineer in Maryland, or the ability to obtain licensure within 12 months\nStrong written and oral communication skills with proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment\nProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nExperience preparing plans, technical reports, and engineering calculations\nStrong knowledge of water resources engineering, including drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, stream restoration, bridge scour, outfall design, and TMDL requirements\nAssist in developing scope and fee proposals\nExhibited client coordination skills\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nParticipation in project pursuits and other business development efforts\nProficiency in MicroStation. Familiarity with InRoads or OpenRoads Designer preferred\nProficient in Microsoft Office products including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.\nKnowledge of Maryland Department of Transportation Modals, Maryland counties, and local municipalities\nExperience working with MDE, Familiarity with SHA guidelines and procedures is beneficial\nProficiency with hydraulic and hydrologic (H&H) modeling software including TR-20, TR-55, HydroCAD and HY-8.
