This role demands strong analytical capabilities, sound business acumen, and the ability to effectively coordinate production control activities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with production managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to drive process improvements and ensure seamless manufacturing operations. A strong foundation in LEAN manufacturing, coupled with an innovative and digital-first mindset, is essential for success in this position.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManufacturing Control & Governance\nChampion a process-centric approach by analysing production rates, quality metrics, and performance indicators to uncover trends and drive improvement opportunities.\nDevelop structured models and frameworks that convert data into actionable insights, clear recommendations, and measurable outcomes.\nLead coordination across interdependent functions to ensure production targets are achieved efficiently and sustainably.\nStreamline end-to-end (E2E) manufacturing processes and implement direct labor (DL) optimization strategies to enhance productivity.\nEnsure all manufacturing activities are compliant with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with production managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to embed process discipline and foster a culture of operational excellence.\nApply a data-driven mindset to strengthen governance, control mechanisms, and strategic decision-making.\nManage and govern change orders (COs), deviations, and all operational changes, ensuring seamless implementation on the shop floor with minimal disruption.\nReview and perform redlining of change order documentation prior to execution to ensure accuracy and clarity.\nLead initiatives to reduce NCMR/NCE, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.\nServe as the manufacturing representative for ISO, BSI, FDA, and other regulatory or customer audits.\nWork cross-functionally to maintain a state of continuous audit readiness across all manufacturing operations.\nContinuous Improvement & Innovation\nPlan, execute, and sustain process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.\nMap and evaluate existing processes, identify root causes of inefficiencies, and implement re-engineering techniques to enhance performance and product quality.\nLead and facilitate cross-functional project teams to drive improvement initiatives aligned with business goals.\nDefine and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and identify future opportunities.\nConduct cost-benefit analyses to support investment decisions and process changes.\nDeliver training and presentations on process improvement tools, fostering a culture of structured problem-solving and ownership.\nIntegrate LEAN principles and digital tools to drive operational excellence and innovation.\nEvaluate and adopt emerging technologies to support process optimization and risk mitigation.\nTasks assigned by managers.\nQualifications (Preferred Skills & Mindset):\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process integrity, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.\nProven ability to apply a process-centric and data-driven mindset in a manufacturing environment to drive structured improvements.\nProficiency in manufacturing and data systems such as EBS, CAMSTAR, APEX, SQL, and data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau); experience with software programming or scripting (e.g., Python, VBA) is a strong advantage.\nDemonstrated experience in leveraging digital tools to enhance manufacturing performance and decision-making.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a continuous improvement mindset.\nBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.\nTo all Staffing and Recruiting Agencies: Our Careers Site is only for individuals seeking a job at Dexcom.
