The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.\nThis is a fully onsite, shift based role and will be transitioning to our Back End Day Shift Pattern as per the business ramp requirements (earliest Q1 2027). This will involve 12-hour day shifts (7am-7pm) every Friday to Sunday and alternate Thursdays, following a repeating 4-on/3-off - 3-on/4-off schedule.\nMeet the team:\nAre you looking to leverage your experience to be part of something big and help people take control of their health? If so, then we have an opening for you!\nUnder the direction of the Engineering Manager, the Engineering Supervisor will provide technical leadership and support to equipment technicians across the shift. Manage the shift technicians, equipment, and line performance through specific maintenance KPI’s. This role also involves supporting cross-functional departments as needed to help maintain an optimal operations environment.\nWhere you come in:\nSupervise and coordinate the activities of equipment technicians during the assigned shift, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.\nReview PM (Preventative Maintenance) and CM (Corrective Maintenance) activities in Maximo as part of maintenance oversight.\nDelegate preventative maintenance tasks and oversee corrective maintenance activities.\nReview and approve technician time and attendance records as required.\nSupervise projects such as layout moves, equipment assembly, and validation report execution.\nDeliver monthly performance updates through one-on-one meetings with each technician.\nCoordinate or conduct technician training as needed to maintain skill levels and support development.\nWork closely alongside the Production Supervisor to ensure smooth and effective shift operations.\nKnow when to step in and provide hands-on support, particularly in escalation scenarios or when critical decisions are required.\nMaintain and report on department metrics such as OEE, Yield and other related KPIs related to equipment performance and maintenance\nEnsure full compliance with all safety procedures, including Dexcom’s Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) program and all other relevant safety protocols.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to sustain equipment and to support equipment deployment and improvement initiatives.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date equipment documentation (manuals, drawings, specifications).\nWhat makes you successful:\n Either formal or informal supervisory experience in a similar role is essential i.e , Technical Supervisor, Lead Technician, Technical Team Lead etc\nYou have extensive experience in a technical role supporting manufacturing i.e. Technician, Engineer etc.\nTypically requires an NFQ Level 7 or Level 8 qualification and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.\nAbility to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical documents related to equipment specifications \nAbility to write routine reports, shift reports and correspondence \nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, engineers and managers \nKnowledge and experience with PLC and Automated production/process equipment, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electro/Mechanical systems, Resistance welders, Packaging equipment highly desirable.\nExperience with process improvement projects i.e. improving yields, reducing downtime\nProven ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment \nExcellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interaction skills \nKnowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing equipment and processes \nTechnical writing skills as applied to manufacturing documentation and process development - Experienced in the creation and revision of technical documentation \nWhat you’ll get:\nA front row seat to life changing CGM technology.
