This position will play a key role to support the Penang Facilities sites, be an active team member supporting the Facilities department programs and procedures that promote a well-managed and well-maintained site. You will primarily provide all aspects of facility engineering management problem solving. Subject areas include system operation condition, preventive maintenance, supporting cost avoidance initiatives and coordination of budgeting, maintaining records, and providing general support services for the operation. The position will also participate in the culture of employee health & safety and good corporate stewardship.\nWhere you come in:\nYou responsible for daily/routine operation and maintenance activities of various utilities equipment/systems, Compressed Dried Air, Cooling Tower, Chiller, Heat Recovery Hot Water System, Plant Wide Air Conditioning System, Cooling/Chilled Water System, City Water Supply System, Fire Protection System, Gasses) including upgrading, improvement and other related facility systems.\nYou identify the parameters to be trend in the BMS data and focusing on data analysis to identify opportunities to improve the reliability/efficiency of the Critical equipment or processes.\nYou plan and supervise effective and efficient preventive and predictive maintenance program, conduct trouble shooting and implementing preventive, corrective and mitigation actions/measures.\nYou provide technical support during the factory building construction phase, close coordination on progress, reporting and addressing any issues that arise.\nYou support any activities related to factory commissioning, qualification & validation program (CQV).\nYou manage contractors and ensure they are complying with Safety Procedures.\nYou support and coordinate in Major activities like Annual Shutdown, Overhaul etc.\nYou assist the Senior Facility Manager in the day-to-day oversite of the MA PM building programs. Focus on making building systems safer, more efficient, more reliable, and easier to service and maintain.\nYou work with building management and control.\nYou manage preventive maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities programs using CMMS software.\nYou maintain monthly PM reports, KPI information of collection of data analytics.\nYou build partnerships with third-party vendors, services providers, and contactors, while ensuring most cost-effective methods are being used.\nYou research and implement new technology to improve operational efficiency.\nYou support department vendor management, quotes, PO process, invoices and payments tracking.\nYou support the department in space planning efforts including moves, adds, and changes.\nYou conduct operational reviews of a facilities mechanical or other building systems.\nYou investigate unique problems related to buildings in the area of energy, mechanical systems or other building infrastructure systems, suggest and implement solutions.\nWhat makes you successful:\nYou have experience in liaison with local authorities’, government regulatory bodies to achieve utilities equipment compliance and utility services provider.\nYou have industry experience in system ownership for HVAC Wet and Dry systems.\nYou have broad engineering skills and experience in utility, automation, instrumentation and project management, operations, and maintenance of HVAC Wet & Dry and mechanical system.\nYou have understanding and experience of GMP & EHS requirements and external/internal audits\nYou can articulate and explain technical concepts to non-technical trained stakeholder.\nYou have good engineering problem solving skills, workload resource planning and prioritization skills.\nYou have knowledge on Lean Sigma tools (5S /Pareto /5 why /DMAIC / RCA /Fish bone analysis) will be added advantage\nYou have knowledge on ISO stds for medical devices and environmental acts\nYou have proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.\n[redacted]\nYou are strong team player and ability to build positive collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and plant staff.\nWhat you’ll get:\nA front row seat to life changing CGM technology.
