Meet the team:

This position will set goals, establish priorities, manage resources, develop concepts and approaches, review production performance and results, and make decisions to ensure production deliverables are achieved. This job spends a significant amount of time leading a production team as well as mentoring other supervisors.

Where you come in:

• You build and lead your team, ensure you have a highly motivated, high-performance team that operates to Dexcom’s desired behaviors.
• You are responsible for addressing people’s performance issues and conflict resolutions if they arise.
• You ensure a culture within production where Safety and Quality are a priority.
• You focus on development of the individuals on the team for the benefit of the individual and Dexcom.
• You lead your production team to deliver balanced scorecard of deliverables pre agreed with the leadership team, work closely with and influencing your cross-functional partners to deliver these.
• You ensure due consideration is given to cross training and business continuity to minimize interruption to production.
• You ensure that you and the team operate the Dexcom Production System.
• You engage actively as required to ensure resolution of issues and challenges.

• You coordinate and/or act as a liaison between work area, shifts, and functions.
• You ensure that the Production team executes in conformity with company and/or industry policies, procedures and regulations.
• You drive continuous improvements in quality, cost, delivery and safety.
• You support new product introductions into commercial manufacturing as required.
• You remain up to date on global programs that will impact teams’ execution.

• You can assume to performs other duties as assigned.

• You have experience leading and developing production teams and individuals to maximize performance while focusing on delivery, cost and quality.
• You can work in a cross-functional team to establish clear goals and deliverable for individuals while providing feedback and development plans.
• You have effective communication skills such as active listening, expressing ideas clearly and concisely, providing timely, constructive feedback, and adapting communication style as needed for intended audience.
• You demonstrate comfort with presenting issues and challenges, along with proposed solutions, to leadership in a timely manner.
• You show the ability to flex and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• You demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, approachability and trustworthiness.
• You have a track record of strong conflict mitigation skills.
• You have a willingness to collaborate and share knowledge cross-functionally and cross-location.
• You have experience of working in the medical device industry and/or within a digital factory manufacturing environment as an advantage.
• Ideally you are experienced with start-up & scale-up organizations.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years of industry experience
• Formal Management/team lead experience
