The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.\nMeet the team:\nThis position will set goals, establish priorities, manage resources, develop concepts and approaches, review production performance and results, and make decisions to ensure production deliverables are achieved. This job spends a significant amount of time leading a production team as well as mentoring other supervisors.\nWhere you come in:\nYou build and lead your team, ensure you have a highly motivated, high-performance team that operates to Dexcom’s desired behaviors. \nYou are responsible for addressing people’s performance issues and conflict resolutions if they arise.\nYou ensure a culture within production where Safety and Quality are a priority.\nYou focus on development of the individuals on the team for the benefit of the individual and Dexcom.\nYou lead your production team to deliver balanced scorecard of deliverables pre agreed with the leadership team, work closely with and influencing your cross-functional partners to deliver these.\nYou ensure due consideration is given to cross training and business continuity to minimize interruption to production.\nYou ensure that you and the team operate the Dexcom Production System.\nYou engage actively as required to ensure resolution of issues and challenges.\nYou coordinate and/or act as a liaison between work area, shifts, and functions.\nYou ensure that the Production team executes in conformity with company and/or industry policies, procedures and regulations.\nYou drive continuous improvements in quality, cost, delivery and safety.\nYou support new product introductions into commercial manufacturing as required.\nYou remain up to date on global programs that will impact teams’ execution.\nYou can assume to performs other duties as assigned.\nWhat makes you successful:\nYou have experience leading and developing production teams and individuals to maximize performance while focusing on delivery, cost and quality.\nYou can work in a cross-functional team to establish clear goals and deliverable for individuals while providing feedback and development plans.\nYou have effective communication skills such as active listening, expressing ideas clearly and concisely, providing timely, constructive feedback, and adapting communication style as needed for intended audience.\nYou demonstrate comfort with presenting issues and challenges, along with proposed solutions, to leadership in a timely manner.\nYou show the ability to flex and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\nYou demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, approachability and trustworthiness.\nYou have a track record of strong conflict mitigation skills.\nYou have a willingness to collaborate and share knowledge cross-functionally and cross-location.\nYou have experience of working in the medical device industry and/or within a digital factory manufacturing environment as an advantage.\nIdeally you are experienced with start-up & scale-up organizations.\nWhat you’ll get:\nA front row seat to life changing CGM technology.
