The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.\nMeet the team:\nAs a Systems Engineer 2 at Dexcom, you will be an integral part of our dynamic and collaborative Systems Engineering team in India. You will work closely with experienced professionals who are passionate about leveraging technology to make a positive impact on patients. You will be working in a fast-paced cross-functional environment, demonstrating rigor and a sense of urgency as you contribute to cutting-edge medical device development.\nWhere you come in:\nYou will contribute to the development, documentation, and maintenance of Product Needs and System/Software Requirements, ensuring traceability between requirements and design elements.\nYou will proficiently utilize GenAI tools (e.g., Gemini) to generate drafts of system engineering documentation, refine requirements, and help manage traceability, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of AI-generated content.\nYou will participate in system integration testing for both software and hardware sub-systems, identifying, reporting, and troubleshooting issues collaboratively.\nYou will assist in the creation of test plans and test cases, and support the generation of verification trace matrices.\nYou will collaborate closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and quality assurance professionals to contribute to the overall success of project deliverables.\nYou will demonstrate proactive communication, representing the Systems Engineering team in discussions and contributing to adjustments as needed.\nWhat makes you successful:\nYou have a solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles with a focus on both hardware and software design elements, preferably in New Product Development.\nYou are skilled in using GenAI tools (e.g., Gemini) to efficiently generate and refine system engineering documentation and maintain traceability, critically reviewing and validating AI outputs.\nYou possess strong verbal and written communication skills and can communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.\nYou have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and a willingness to learn and apply new skills as needed.\nYou bring a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.\nYou have experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jama Connect) and are familiar with software development tools like Jira.\nYou have demonstrated willingness to solve problems and interface with other teams as needed for product delivery.\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 2+ years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience.\nNice to haves:\nExperience in the medical device industry and familiarity with standards like IEC 62304 and ISO 14971.\nSystems Engineering prior training, INCOSE certifications (e.g., ASEP).\nExperience with mobile application development (Android/iOS) or BLE architecture.\nTo all Staffing and Recruiting Agencies: Our Careers Site is only for individuals seeking a job at Dexcom.
