The Role We are looking for a Motor Electromagnetic Design Engineer to develop PMSM and BLDC motors for integrated robot actuators. You will own the electromagnetic design from topology and sizing through prototype characterization, working with mechanical, thermal and drive engineers to deliver performance within the actuator’s real packaging, voltage, current and duty-cycle limits. Responsibilities Evaluate motor topologies and size active materials for required torque-speed performance, efficiency and mass, including frameless or outrunner configurations where appropriate. Design slot and pole combinations, winding layouts, magnets, laminations and air gaps; evaluate saturation, losses, cogging torque and torque ripple. Build electromagnetic FEA models and analytical checks; document assumptions, material properties and sensitivity to manufacturing tolerances. Co-design the motor
