You will work closely with our software engineering, product, and design teams to test new features, build automation, identify bugs, improve reliability, and ensure our software is secure, scalable, and production-ready.\nResponsibilities\nBuild and maintain automated tests for robot software, APIs, backend services, web applications, and end-to-end workflows spanning from cloud to physical robot.\n\nPerform manual, exploratory, regression, and release testing for new and existing features.\n\nValidate UI implementation against product requirements and design specifications.\n\nConduct performance, load, stress, and reliability testing for critical software workflows.\n\nTest account systems, authentication, authorization, permissions, and data security flows.\n\nValidate software releases at software and robot level, including regression, fault-injection, and recovery testing.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n4+ years of experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, Software Engineer in Test, or similar role.\n\nStrong coding ability in TypeScript, JavaScript, Rust, Python, Java, Go, or similar language.\n\nExperience testing modern web applications, APIs, backend services, and cloud-based software.\n\nHands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.\n\nExperience with performance or load testing tools such as k6, JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or similar.\n\nStrong attention to detail, debugging ability, and clear written communication.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience as the first or early QA/SDET hire at a startup or fast-moving engineering team.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, databases, authentication systems, and observability tools.\n\nInterest in robotics, AI platforms, developer tools, or physical AI
