This role involves towing a trailer, so proven towing experience is essential. You’ll be provided with a company van and fuel card, and will play a key part in ensuring our equipment arrives safely.\nThis role will be Wallingford based when not travelling.\nResponsibilities: \nTransport robots safely and efficiently from our warehouse in Verda Park to client sites, warehouses, exhibitions, and events across the UK and mainland Europe, and return them to base.\nPlan and optimise delivery routes, taking into account traffic, road conditions, and potential disruptions.\nOperate company vehicles, including vans and trailers, ensuring full compliance with towing requirements. \nTake responsibility for vehicle upkeep, including routine maintenance, daily serviceability checks, and cleanliness. \nSupport additional company transport needs, including inter-site deliveries, airport transfers, and station pick-ups\nRepresent the company professionally during face-to-face interactions with clients and partners\nAssist with warehouse operations on non-driving days, including coordinating repairs, general upkeep, and facility organisation\nManage stock and supplies for staff welfare, including arranging deliveries and maintaining inventory levels as directed\nOversee basic maintenance and servicing of on-site equipment, such as beverage machines\nWork flexibly to meet business needs, including occasional extended driving hours and weekend work (e.g. Sunday travel for Monday events)\nQualifications:\nFull, clean UK driving licence. \nProven experience in towing trailers safely and confidently.\nValid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification\nDigital Tachograph Card holder.\nCategory C1 (7.5 tonne) driving licence. \nSolid knowledge of UK road regulations, with the ability to adapt to European driving requirements where necessary. \n*We value the right attitude, humility and we're as interested in your character as we are in your talent.
