That is where you come in. \nWe have a new opportunity for a Production Planner to join our dedicated team based at our Robotics Campus.\nYou'll be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure our robots are built efficiently and delivered to customers on time. Working closely with teams across Procurement, Stores, Engineering and Production, you'll ensure materials, resources and priorities are aligned. You'll also play a key role in improving planning processes as we continue to scale and grow. \nKey Responsibilities\nTranslate customer orders, demand forecasts and delivery commitments into realistic production schedules. Proactively identify changes, assess capacity and adjust plans to maintain on-time delivery.\n Manage MRP requirements, anticipate material shortages and work closely with Procurement to ensure components are available when needed, including long-lead-time items.\nCollaborate with Engineering and Stores to maintain accurate BOMs and stock records, ensuring effective inventory control and minimising excess and obsolete stock.\nAlign Sales, Finance, Production and Procurement through the S&OP process, providing clear reporting, actionable insights and visibility of production performance.\nExperience \nEssential\nProven planning experience (demand, production or materials) in manufacturing.\nHands-on MRP, BOM control and inventory management, with a good grasp of forecasting and supplier lead times.\nExperience working closely with Procurement, Stores, Production, Engineering and Finance.\nStrong analytical skills, excellent Excel and ERP/MRP or planning systems experience.\nClear communicator, confident to challenge assumptions and influence decisions.\nNice to have\nRobotics, electronics or other technology-led hardware manufacturing, ideally complex or configurable products.\nExperience in a fast-growing business, improving or building planning processes.\nFamiliarity with ERP/MRP systems and managing engineering changes.\nWhat success looks like\nBuild transparent insight across client requirements, manufacturing timelines, and component stocks while maintaining practical strategies to mitigate operational risks.\nImplement a responsive manufacturing workflow that optimizes punctual fulfillment while reducing inventory bottlenecks and assembly disruptions.\nUnify Commercial, Purchasing, Inventory, Operations, Engineering, and Finance around one centralized, dependable truth.\nCreate scalable scheduling frameworks and reporting mechanisms that empower Dexory as output accelerates.\nServe as the go-to expert for operational scheduling, offering clear guidance on build priorities, target dates, and potential supply chain hazards.\nBenefits\nStarting from the interview process and continuing into your career with us, you will be working by our four Operating Principles:\nPerformance: High standards, outstanding results,\nImpact: Big challenges, bigger results\nCommitment: All in, every time\nOne team: One mission, shared success\nJoining our team and company isn't just about expertise; it's about embracing uncertainty with ambition.
