You will be responsible for supporting high-velocity deployment of user-facing applications, internal services, and infrastructure at scale, while ensuring stability, reliability and automation.\nOffices based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire but flexible hybrid basis (circa one day every week on site)\nAny experience within robotics or start up / scale up environments desirable along with experience working on multiple cloud platforms vs being tied to just vendor.\nOpen to the career background candidates are coming from (infrastructure, DevOps, site reliability, platform etc)\nPlease apply for more information.\nResponsibilities / Skills\nDevelop and Maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling that supports multiple engineering teams with different technical requirements - enabling self-service, repeatable deployments, and high-throughput delivery.\nManage cloud infrastructure across a wide range of cloud providers, using Kubernetes, for both user-facing applications and internal services - provision, monitor, optimise cost, performance and reliability.\n Build infrastructure-as-code (IaC) with Terraform on Terraform Cloud, establishing standards for repeatable environments, reducing manual processes and increasing automation.\nSupport monitoring, logging, observability and alerting systems, via Grafana, to support production health, incident detection, root-cause analysis and rapid recovery.\nDrive a culture ofDevOps best-practice across teams: infrastructure reliability, deployment-velocity, automated testing, rollback strategies, security/infrastructure hardening..\nParticipate in incident response, perform post-mortems, establish improvements and ensure operational readiness.\nExperience (typically 3+ years) in DevOps, infrastructure or platform engineering roles in a high-growth tech company (scale-up) or equivalent.\nHands-on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), infrastructure as code (ideally Terraform), containers (Docker), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD tooling.\nProven track record of building and managing CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitHub Actions), automation frameworks and ideally self-service developer tooling (Backstage).\nExperience working cross-functionally with software engineering teams, understanding developer workflows and aligning infrastructure/tooling accordingly.\nStrong programming skills in either Python, Bash, Go or Typescript, and experience with configuration management tools.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills - able to articulate technical trade-offs, influence engineers and stakeholders, and drive adoption of infrastructure standards.\nA proactive, service-oriented mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.\n\nStarting from the interview process and continuing into your career with us, you will be working by our four Operating Principles:\nPerformance: High standards, outstanding results,\nImpact: Big challenges, bigger results\nCommitment: All in, every time\nOne team: One mission, shared success\nJoining our team and company isn't just about expertise; it's about embracing uncertainty with ambition.
