As our Accounting Solutions Specialist for the Canadian Market, you’ll combine deep domain expertise with strong communication skills to support complex sales conversations, shape how Dext is positioned in-market, and elevate the capability of our regional sales teams.\nThe role, what you’ll do:\nYou’ll act as the Canadian subject matter expert for the Dext platform, working across pre-sales, implementation design, and sales enablement. Your focus is on helping prospects and customers understand how Dext fits into their practice: mapping workflows, demonstrating value, and ensuring solutions are practical, compliant, and scalable.\nInternally, you’ll play a key role in improving demo quality, strengthening product storytelling, and ensuring the sales team can confidently position Dext in a competitive accounting software ecosystem .\nDeliver tailored product demonstrations and solution consultations to accounting firms and practices\n\nTranslate Canadian compliance workflows (GST/HST/PST, corporate tax, CRA and Revenu Québec reporting) into effective Dext configurations\n\nSupport mid-market and enterprise opportunities through solution design, scoping, and Proof-of-Concepts\n\nContribute to proposals, pitch materials, and implementation planning\n\nEnable sales teams through training, coaching, and demo best practice frameworks\n\nDevelop reusable demo scripts, templates, and enablement resources\n\nAct as a Voice of Customer conduit to Product, sharing structured market feedback\n\nRepresent Dext at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements\n\nAbout you, what we are looking for:\nMust-haves\nExperience working within a Canadian accounting or bookkeeping practice\n\nStrong understanding of Canadian compliance workflows (GST/HST/PST sales tax, corporate tax, year-end working papers, CRA reporting)\n\nProven experience delivering product demos or customer-facing presentations\n\nExperience in requirements gathering or consultative selling environments\n\nStrong knowledge of accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online and Xero essential)\n\nAbility to translate business workflows into system configurations\n\nConfident communicator across both technical and non-technical audiences\n\nNice-to-haves\nCPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) or CPB (Certified Professional Bookkeeper) designation or equivalent qualification\n\nExperience with Dext\n\nExposure to mid-market or enterprise accounting firms\n\nFamiliarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini)\n\nExperience contributing to sales enablement or training programmes\n\nWhat you will be part of:\nDext is a highly ambitious, innovative, and market-leading FinTech.
