You will be representing a company, brand, and product that is world-class.\nWhat You'll Do:\nCustomer & Technical Support\nProvide expert technical support to distributors, service technicians, equipment owners, and business partners around the world.\nTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and networking-related issues involving Dexter commercial and industrial laundry equipment.\nBuild strong relationships with customers by delivering timely, professional, and effective solutions.\nServe as a trusted technical resource for the Dexter customer network.\nTraining & Education\nLead engaging technical training seminars at customer locations and at the Dexter manufacturing facility.\nDevelop and deliver training materials that help customers and service providers maximize equipment performance.\nCreate service procedures, instructional materials, and educational resources to support the field.\nInfluence Product Innovation\nAct as the Voice of the Customer during product development and design discussions.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams to identify product enhancements and implement improvements.\nUse customer feedback and field experience to help shape future product designs and features.\nParticipate in testing and validating product updates and enhancements.\nAdditional Opportunities\nDevelop installation instructions and field modification procedures.\nCreate visual training content, including service videos and maintenance tutorials.\nSupport the development of performance metrics and tracking tools that enhance customer support effectiveness.\nAssist with maintaining technical manuals and documentation for all Dexter products.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nEducation & Experience\nEngineering, technical, networking, or related degree preferred.\nAlternatively, 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, engineering, technical support, networking, or a closely related field.\nCustomer-facing technical support experience strongly preferred.\nSkills & Knowledge\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nMechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.\nAbility to read schematics and follow technical documentation.\nFamiliarity with Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts.\nConfidence presenting and training individuals or groups.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nExperience with Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Visio, or similar tools is a plus.\nGeneral construction knowledge, including electrical, plumbing, concrete, and framing, is helpful.\nWillingness to travel occasionally, including international travel.\nWhy You'll Love This Role\nInfluence products used worldwide.\nWork directly with customers and industry professionals.\nCollaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams.\nTravel, teach, innovate, and solve complex technical challenges.\nJoin a team committed to helping customers succeed.\nPhysical & Position Requirements\nAbility to sit, stand, bend, lift, and perform hands-on technical work as needed.\nFlexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and varied schedules.\nAbility to pass required background, physical, drug, and alcohol screenings.\nAuthorization to work in the United States.\nOur Vision:\nTO BE OUR CUSTOMERS' COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE!\nJoin Dexter Laundry and help deliver the technical expertise, innovation, and customer support that make us the trusted choice across the world\nBe the Voice of the Customer.
