Please visit www.cmimgmt.com to learn more about our company!\n The Project Manager will manage the overall coordination of services and performance at CMI’s customer site in Des Moines, Iowa.\nKey Job Functions\nResponsible for the areas of: electrical, mechanical, fire protection & safety, BAS systems, service request desk operations and maintenance\nResponsible for meeting the cost, performance, and schedule requirements throughout the contract execution and manage service requests, emergencies, projects, etc.\nResponsible for inspecting preventive maintenance procedures, identifying inadequate performance, and training or re-training personnel on proper procedures, and ensuring that the education and training manual is updated monthly\nOversee the operations, staffing and performance, ensuring facility services are delivered that meet or exceed customer guidelines in a high quality, cost effective and timely manner\nActively participate in capital improvement plans and projects and assists with the coordination of day-to-day operations and client customers\nOversee or manage the activities of sub-contractors, maintenance contracts and personnel to ensure that the worked performed meets or exceeds client expectations\nMeasure and evaluate productivity and quality, set standards, measure performance, and develop programs for improvement\nPartner with vendors to insure a reliable cost-effective source of supplies, parts, and equipment to meet all deliverables\nEnsure any required corrective action complies with contract performance\n High School diploma, BA degree preferred\n The Project Manager should have at minimum five (5) years of O&M/Facilities Management type experience, as well as project management/supervisory role.\nExperience must be in the operation, management, and supervision of building mechanical maintenance operations for a singular federal facility of at least 500,000 square feet.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nProject Management Professional through Project Management Institute preferred\n COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS\nTeamwork\nResults orientation/operational excellence\nHolding self and other accountable\nOperational business thinking\nAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nCMI is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
