The Cleaner/Housekeeper will ensure a sanitary environment, securing and maintaining tools/equipment used to perform the day to day work and performing other duties as assigned or requested.\nMust be able to obtain reliability clearance.\nPerform thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including floors, washrooms, and common spaces, offices and entrances\nMaintaining the floors; vacuuming carpets and dry/wet mopping floors\nDusting all visible surfaces within reach which includes counter tops, pillars, lighting fixtures, window ledges and vents\nWipes and polishes office furniture and glass windows\nSpot cleaning walls, partitions, light switches and doors\nOperate various cleaning equipment and machines efficiently and safely\nMaintain and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom essentials\nEmpty and clean waste bins, ensuring proper waste disposal\nSanitize high-touch areas to maintain a hygienic environment\nReport any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor\nAdhere to all safety protocols and cleaning standards\n WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?\nPrevious experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred\nProficiency in operating cleaning equipment and machines (e.g., auto scrubber, swing machine, burnisher) is an asset\nWHMIS certification or willingness to obtain (training can be provided)\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work\nExcellent time management and organizational skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nPhysical stamina to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods (8 hours per shift)\nPositive attitude and strong work ethic\nClear criminal background check required\n WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?\nBe part of an industry that's more important than ever!\nEmployee Referral Program!\nCareer advancement opportunities.\nWhereas other companies are downsizing, we are growing!\nBe #1 on day 1 by joining an industry leader.\nDexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
