And, that’s something we’re truly proud of.\nWork That Matters, People Who Care.\n Key Responsibilities\nOversee daily building operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and general facility maintenance.\nCoordinate preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, inspections and emergency response.\nSupervise onsite maintenance personnel and coordinate specialized service contractors.\nManage janitorial, landscaping, snow removal, waste management, pest control and workplace services.\nMaintain asset records, work orders and maintenance schedules using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).\nMonitor facility conditions, identify maintenance needs and assist with capital planning.\nServe as the primary onsite contact for FLSmidth, responding to service requests and maintaining strong client relationships.\nMonitor service quality, operating budgets, contractor performance and safety compliance.\nCoordinate routine mailroom, courier and workplace support activities.\nSupport the initial facility transition, including site familiarization, asset assessments and implementation of maintenance programs.\nPerform limited reception assistance activities\n Required Qualifications\n5+ years of experience in facility management, building maintenance or a related technical field.\nWorking knowledge of commercial building systems, particularly HVAC, electrical and mechanical equipment.\nExperience coordinating maintenance activities, contractors and service providers.\nFamiliarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.\nStrong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks and maintain positive client relationships.\nUnderstanding of workplace safety and building maintenance practices.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience managing commercial, industrial or multi-building facilities.\nTechnical education or certification in facilities management, engineering or building maintenance.\nExperience with building automation systems, asset management or facility condition assessments.\nPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience.\nIdeal Candidate\nWe're looking for a practical, technically knowledgeable professional who enjoys being involved in daily facility operations.
