Please visit www.cmimgmt.com to learn more about our company!\n The Master Electrician performs high voltage electrical installation in addition to other electrical duties, maintenance and repair work at CMI’s customer site located in Washington, DC.\nKey Job Functions\nReceives assignments verbally and by work order and will determine the safest best methods to accomplish assignments.\nResponsible for electrical preventive maintenance\nTesting and repair of the electrical systems\nInstalling or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment;\nWorking from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.\n High School diploma\nAbility to effectively verbally communicate\nMinimum of 5 years of providing electrical repair services preferably within a federal facility\nMust be a licensed Master Electrician (DC)\nMust possess troubleshooting skills for high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems typically found in large commercial structures\nSound ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems, motors, controls, and miscellaneous electrical systems\n COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS\nTeamwork\nResults orientation/operational excellence\nHolding self and other accountable\nOperational business thinking\nAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nCMI is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
