Powered by passionate people, we bring the right teams with the right skills together - offering both experience and regional expertise so companies can operate their day to day, confidently and successfully.\n WHAT'S THE JOB ?\nReporting to the Facility General Manager, as the Plant and Operations Manager you will be responsible for the management and leadership of all maintenance operations, development, and direction of the team to drive the growth and revenue, technical productivity, and quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction, in accordance with company beliefs, policies, procedures, objectives and applicable legislation. You will also include the assurance of accurate parts control, sourcing, and costing, as well as the management of staff, resources, and inventories for the department. Upon the absence of the General Manager, you will provide support and coverage to the on-site team and engage with the client as required.\nSome of your responsibilities and this state-of-the art facility will include:\nDevelop and implement strategies for creating or improving maintenance processes and procedures.\nGeneral oversight of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software.\nProvide leadership and guidance to the team and expert opinion to the client as required.\nEnsure that all compliance procedures are in place and all safety procedures are followed.\nProvide planning and forecasting for the for the department’s objectives.\nManage and oversee the daily maintenance operations\nResponsible for recruitment, training, and talent management of technical staff\nResponsible for the completion and retention of documents and reports including but not limited to the following: preventive maintenance, daily maintenance, technical, financial, procedural, maintenance agreements, and department metrics.\nEstablish the overall vision and direction for the implementation of the maintenance operations.\nMonitor financial performance to ensure the department is meeting or exceeding budgetary commitment.\nAnalyze and report on the daily, monthly, and annually department's key performance indicators and industry trends.\n WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?\nYou have a post-secondary diploma or degree in engineering, business administration, technical field, or similar area of study.\n5 years of maintenance management experience with proven leadership abilities.\nEffective leadership with a strong focus on strategic objectives and business processes.\nMaintain a high level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.\nSound analytical thinking, problem solving, planning, prioritization, decision making and execution skills.\nAbility to multi-task, effectively manage time and adapt to work in a fast-paced environment and manage projects with conflicting deadlines.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nMeticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.\nProven skills in customer service, project management leadership, supervision, and administration.\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with others.\n WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU ?\nWork at one of the most prestigious accounts in the Dexterra Portfolio\nSecurity - Our company grew during the pandemic and hired thousands of people where others let go of their staff\nWe take care of our people, from benefits and vacation from day one, to great pay, to health and wellness account, we do what matters\nAdvancement - Dexterra is 1 of 7 Dexterra Group companies so if you want to grow your chances for promotion are at least seven times more likely than anywhere else\nDexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
